For anyone with a strong interest in graphic, particularly editorial design, a designer I feel is particularly important to be aware of. Porter was responsible for the successful overhall of the Guardian's design in '05 and has also worked for Colors and Direction magazines. His work for the Guardian is particularly influential in directing the future of contemporary newspaper design. His portfolio demonstrates some good examples of successful layouts / typography aswell as spreads from the Guardian re-design.
